Protecting your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Statement helps you understand the policies and practices in place at TF Payments to control the usage of your confidential information and to protect the same. The following policies are applicable to the web pages of TF Payments, any registration forms, newsletters, discussion forums subscribed to by our visitors.

Customers of TF Payments are businesses and other legal entities who desire to accept credit and/or debit cards and other payment methods as payments for their goods and services. The information we receive and collect is strictly related to our business customers and the payment transactions that we assist them in executing. We also collect information from prospective business customers or website visitors who may be interested in learning more about our services. The transaction data we receive from our Merchants may include personal financial information about their customers or applicants (e.g., name, address, credit or debit card account numbers and expiration dates, etc.) who may be individual consumers and other cardholders. Such information is collectively referred to as “Cardholder Data”. TF Payments understands that such information is sensitive and takes appropriate steps to protect the confidentiality and security of all information collected by TF Payments in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Information Collection and Usage

While browsing TF Payments web site, our web servers may recognize the IP address from which the visitor is browsing and the domain name. There is no personal information embedded in the IP address or the domain names. This information is used in our statistical analysis of traffic into our web site and to safeguard any unauthorized access into our web site. We will disclose this information if required by law to comply with the legal process.

Periodically web sites deploy “cookies” as a commonly used technology to provide the visitor with customized information based on the previous visits. TF Payments web server may use cookies to customize your browsing experience on our web pages. Cookies are not capable of reading any data from your computer. Your browser settings can be altered to manage cookies as per your requirements. Our advertisers may use cookies to collect some statistical data to better personalize the content and promotions for the user.

TF Payments web site may collect certain personal information for the purpose of registering the user into email updates, newsletters or product support and discussion forums. We may share this information with our clients to send promotional material related to the service you registered for.

While ordering our products and services we collect personal information such as your name, shipping and billing addresses, email addresses, phone number and payment details such as credit card numbers for the sole purpose of fulfilling the order and to notify you of the order status. Credit card and email information will not be shared or sold to any third parties for any promotional purposes whatsoever. We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

TF Payments web site may use shopping carts to accept payments for our products and services thru which we will be collecting personal information as explained above. Our shopping cart will use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to encrypt the information accepted on our web site thus protecting your confidential data from any unauthorized usage.

The email and mailing addresses collected may be used for conducting surveys and sending out product announcements, conferences and/or tradeshows. Our privacy policy ensures that we indicate the purpose of the inquiry before collecting any personal information. We do adhere to a very strict “No-Spam” policy by which we do not intend to share, rent, and/or sell your email information to any third party solicitors.

We may also use your information to measure consumer interest in our services and inform you about other products and services. For example, if we obtain your email address we may use it to send you an offer we think you might be interested in. These offers may be based on information you provided in your initial transaction with us or in surveys as well as information lawfully available from other organizations.

Completing a form on our website, sending an email, fax, or contacting us by telephone to solicit information about our services or the company in general, TF Payments may store the inquiries and their contents. Information you submit via an inquiry is collected only with your knowledge and active participation, and may be used by TF Payments to respond to your inquiries, to contact you, to inform you of services of TF Payments or its partners that may be of use to you, and for similar business purposes. Information collected during the course of an inquiry will not be sold or otherwise disclosed to any third party; provided that such information may be shared internally with our affiliated entities for the business purposes set forth above.

When you submit an application to obtain a Merchant account and become a Merchant, you will be required to provide us with certain information about your business, and its owners and officers, which may also act as guarantors of the Merchant’s obligations. TF Payments may also obtain and store information about the Merchant, and its officers, owners and guarantors, from consumer reporting agencies, credit bureaus, relevant financial institutions, and other entities. TF Payments may use, retain and disclose this information to (1) comply with any applicable federal legislation requiring TF Payments to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each entity with which it establishes a Merchant relationship, (2) evaluate your eligibility for a Merchant account, which may involve disclosure to consumer reporting agencies, commercial credit bureaus, and relevant financial institutions. If you are, or become a Merchant, TF Payments may disclose your information during the course of providing such services to card associations, banks and other financial institutions that are involved in the course of processing or screening the transaction, and to third parties that have contracted with TF Payments to perform certain functions of our services on our behalf. In addition, TF Payments may use, or disclose your information to third parties for the additional purposes of facilitating and completing merchant-initiated or authorized transactions, complying with federal, state and local laws, including credit reporting laws and card association rules, assisting in preventing fraud, or informing you about general company news, product updates and developments, card association rules, and industry trends, offering you products and services that may be of interest to you, or as otherwise may be permitted or required by applicable law.

 A customer who purchases a product or service from a Merchant using a credit or debit card, or any other method of payment for which we provide the Merchant with transaction processing services, is required to provide that Merchant with certain Cardholder Data in order to make the purchase, including the customer’s name and credit card number. Our Merchants may transmit certain parts of this information to TF Payments for the purpose of processing the transaction. During the course of providing processing services to our Merchants, we may disclose such Cardholder Data to banks, processors, credit and debit card organizations and associations, and other financial institutions that are involved in the course of effecting the transaction represented by the Cardholder Data. In addition, we may disclose some or all of the information we collect, to our affiliated companies or to non-affiliated third parties (subject to contractual confidentiality provisions to protect such information) such as a vendor or service company that we hire to prepare our Merchants’ account statements or to provide support or services for one or more of our products. We will not disclose Cardholder Data to any third party, except to facilitate and complete transactions submitted to us by Merchants, or otherwise in the course of providing services to our Merchants, or to comply with federal, state and local laws or the rules and regulations of the respective card organizations or other payment entities (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, NACHA, etc.).

Protection of Cardholder and Customer Data

TF Payments has implemented various measures, including appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards, designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of Cardholder Data and Customer Data, protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information, and protect against unauthorized access to or use of such information. Such measures may include, among others, encryption, physical access security and other appropriate technologies. TF Payments continually reviews and enhances its security systems, as necessary. TF Payments is subject to the detailed rules and regulations of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI”), VISA U.S.A.’s Cardholder Information Security Program (“CISP”) and MasterCard International’s Site Data Protection Program (“SDP”). TF Payments endeavors to comply with all such rules at all times. Pursuant to such rules and regulations, TF Payments is required to undergo periodic third-party assessments and periodic network scans to ensure that, among other things, TF Payments data center maintains a firewall configuration to protect data; does not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters; protects stored data; encrypts transmission of Cardholder Data and sensitive information across public networks; uses and regularly updates anti-virus software; develops and maintains secure systems and applications; restricts access to data to those with a business need-to-know; tracks and monitors all access to network resources and Cardholder Data; regularly tests security systems and processes; assigns a unique ID to each person with computer access; restricts physical access to cardholder data; and maintains a policy that addresses information security.

Merchants are also required to comply with various rules and regulations of the various credit and debit card organizations and networks relating to the security and safeguarding Cardholder Data, including PCI, CISP and SDP. Merchants may be required to undergo periodic third-party data security assessments and periodic network scans to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place.

Opt-Out email Offers

We hope that our customers and registrants will appreciate receiving details of these carefully designed opportunities. However, we clearly recognize the importance of providing you with choices by giving you an easy means to "Opt Out" from receiving e-mail offers. All you have to do is let us know that you do not want to receive offers by e-mail. You can do this at any time by contacting us by simply replying to the e-mail. All e-mail offers that you receive from us will let you know how to "Opt Out" from receiving further e-mail offers.

You can "Opt-Out" of these email offers by “unsubscribing” to the offers. The instructions to unsubscribe will be included in the emails. Alternatively, you could contact us by email or phone to request removal of your email address from our mailing list.

Disclosure of Information

TF Payments has had a long-standing commitment to protecting personal information of our customers and prospective customers. This section explains how we share your personal information with others.

TF Payments group of companies

We may share some non-critical information about you within the TF Payments Group of Companies to provide you with products and services you request and bring you information about other TF Payments products and services. All TF Payments Companies comply with strict privacy policies of their own.

Service Providers

In some cases, we contract with other companies to perform services for us. Examples of this include processing applications, e-mails, order processing, marketing support, shipping, market research & campaigns, debt collection agencies etc. In such cases we provide them only with such minimal information as needed to perform their services. We also impose strict requirements of security and confidentiality on them in how they handle your information. They are not permitted to use the information for any purpose except to perform the services we ask them to provide.

Business Partners

We may send offers by e-mail or other direct marketing methods (i.e. mail, fax or phone) about products and services offered by our business partners. When we do this, we keep control over your information, which is not disclosed to our business partners unless you have expressly authorized us to do so or you take advantage of their offer.


Please keep in mind that if you take advantage of an offer from a TF Payments business partner and become their customer, they may independently wish to send offers to you. In this case, you will need to inform them separately if you do not wish to receive future offers from them. In all cases our goal is to deliver offers to people who we believe will find them of value. Our communications are developed and managed under strict conditions designed to safeguard the security and privacy of customer information.

Credit Reference Schemes

Information concerning your account(s) may be provided to credit reference agency(s) as permitted by law.

Other Disclosure of Information

In all other cases, we will not disclose your personal information unless you have been previously informed or have authorized us to do so, or if we are required to do so by law. If an order of a court or government authority requires us to disclose information about you, we will do our best to notify you of this promptly, to give you an opportunity to exercise your legal rights. The only exceptions to this policy are when the order or law prohibits us from notifying you or when there is suspicion of fraud or criminal activity.

How Long do we keep our information

We will keep information for as long as it is necessary to service your account or to continue to provide products and services you have requested. We will retain information for a reasonable period if you cease to be our customer, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer. The information may be returned or destroyed upon your request.

Access to your personal information

You can contact TF Payments at any time if you would like details of any information we may hold about you or if you would like us to correct it. Depending on the nature of your request, we may ask you to complete a personal data access form. In some cases, we may charge you a service fee for providing this information, but we will inform you of this at the time and provide an opportunity to decline.


TF Payments does not solicit or knowingly accept information from persons under the age of eighteen (18). Our web sites are not designed with the intent to attract or encourage viewing by children.
